Paia Real Estate
Paia is a fun and diverse community with many areas of the town reflecting the history from its plantation era. It has many one-of-a-kind shops and boutiques you won’t find anywhere else on Maui. You won’t have trouble finding a unique and locally made item here to bring back home.
Many of the restaurants in Paia are geared towards healthy eating and a healthy lifestyle. You can try fresh-caught fish at the world-famous Mama’s Fish House, seek out a vegan pizza at the Flatbread Company, or sample some new drinks at the Rock & Brews Restaurant. Many tourists and locals here feel at home in a family-style atmosphere and enjoy making friends with people from around the globe.
Paia is a surfers paradise with Ho’okipa Beach, the “windsurfing capital of the world” just a few minutes from town. Here you can watch the windsurfers catch the waves, or do some surfing of your own. An abundance of turtles can be found laying their eggs or basking in the sun along its shores; more than many other places on Maui. You can also get a birds-eye view of the shore from the Ho’okipa Beach Lookout.
Head a bit further from town and you can find yourself at Pe’ahi Beach, otherwise known as JAWS. Surfing Pe’ahi Beach’s legendary waves is best kept to the professionals but offer a great view for those who want to witness the daredevils in action.
Paia is a laid-back historic town with no shortage of Aloha spirit. It captures the hearts of nature lovers, beachgoers, and those who enjoy being a part of the family-like community. Many of the homes here are right on the beach and have their very own special slice of Maui’s north shore, or are just across the street and overlooking the ocean.
